The Royal Canadian Legion, including branches here in Quinte, has a little extra more to celebrate in 2026.
The 2026 National Legion Week, running September 20 to September 26, offers a great opportunity to educate visitors on the good work local legion branches do in their community, and support Veterans, as the RCL marks its 100th anniversary year.
This week is also a prime opportunity to attract new members and volunteers.
During National Legion Week, branches are encouraged to hold open-house style events and activities that meet their needs and showcase strengths that appeal to specific communities.
Monday morning, Quinte West Council representatives and candidates were on hand outside City Hall to raise the Legion flag on behalf of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 110 in Trenton.
