Cool 100.1 FM has once again been singled out for excellence on the Canadian country music scene.
On Friday, the station (call letters CHCQ-FM) was chosen as the winner of the CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) Award as Radio Station of the Year – Medium or Small Market at the awards banquet in Saskatoon.
It is the sixth time the Quinte-region station has received the honour after previous wins in 2017, 18, 21, 22, and 23.
It was another big reason the area was in the spotlight as The Wilkinsons were also inducted into the CCMA Hall of Fame.
Cool 100.1 FM is the Quinte Region’s premier destination for Country Music.
Featuring today’s biggest hits and local information, the station serves a diverse audience across Eastern Ontario and remains a leader in the medium-market radio landscape.
