The Northumberland OPP is investigating a fail-to-remain collision between a sedan and a motorcycle on County Road 28 Monday morning and are looking for witnesses.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and sedan on County Road 28, near Ganaraska Road, in Northumberland County.
The motorcycle rider, a 53-year-old male, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by Ornge to a Toronto-area trauma centre.
The invovled vehicle is described as a white sedan with tinted windows and a possible spoiler. Investigators are continuing their efforts to identify the driver.
County Road 28, between Boundary Road and Ganaraska Road, is closed while members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit conduct their investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and follow posted detour routes.
