Women Inspiring Women event returns to empower, connect, and give back

A powerful celebration of female entrepreneurship, leadership, and community connection is returning to the Quinte region this spring as the Women Inspiring Women event welcomes guests, vendors, and supporters for an inspiring day with a meaningful purpose.

Founded by local Realtor and community advocate Marylou Frost, Women Inspiring Women was created to shine a spotlight on women in business while encouraging women of all ages to pursue their goals — whether they are just starting out, changing careers, or growing an established venture.

“This event is about more than business,” says Frost. “It’s about confidence, courage, and community. When women support one another, incredible things happen.”

The event brings together a diverse group of female entrepreneurs, makers, and service providers, offering attendees the opportunity to connect directly with local women-led businesses, hear inspiring stories, and build meaningful relationships within the community.

Beyond inspiration, Women Inspiring Women also gives back in a tangible way. Proceeds from the event support the Women Inspiring Women Bursary, awarded to a female student entering the Business & Marketing Program at Loyalist College. The bursary helps remove financial barriers and encourages the next generation of women to pursue careers in business.

In a continued show of community partnership, EXIT Realty Corp.  has committed to matching funds raised (for an awarded amount) for the bursary, doubling the impact of donations and reinforcing the event’s mission of lifting others up.

With growing interest each year, the 2026 event will feature expanded vendor space, increased attendance, and an atmosphere designed to inspire connection, conversation, and possibility.

Women Inspiring Women is a reminder that success doesn’t happen in isolation — it grows when a community comes together with intention.

The event will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Batawa Community Centre with a $5 admission fee.
