The search for an escaped prisoner from Collins Bay Institution in the Kingston region now involves a provincial unit.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating federal offender Mason Jenkins, who is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of Statutory Release.
Jenkins is described as a Caucasian male, 49 years of age , 5’9” (175cm), 255 lbs (116kg) with brown eyes and brown hair, currently shaved bald.
He reportedly walked away from the Collins Bay Institution last Thursday, September 24.
Jenkins is serving a Life sentence for:
· First Degree Murder
· Possession of Scheduled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking
The offender is known to frequent Kingston, Kitchener and Chatham, Ontario.
