Smoke was seen in west-end Belleville early Wednesday morning.
Belleville Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Sienna Avenue shortly before 7 am.
The fire was found going up the rear wall of the home.
Firefighters made a quick knockdown and kept the fire from breaching into the building.
The occupants were able to safely escape the home. There are no injuries.
An investigator is on route to determine a cause.
