Crash ends with vehicle in water west of Bath

More information is expected on Wednesday about a crash late Tuesday night that resulted in a vehicle going into the water west of Bath.

Around 11:20 pm, the OPP posted on social media that Highway 33/Bath Road was closed west of Bath to County Road 21.

Emergency crews were responding to a vehicle in the water.

A collision was reported in that same area a few minutes later.

There are no details about injuries.

Highway 33 was closed for several hours west of Bath overnight for the investigation and was still closed on Wednesday morning.

OPP said in an update at 5:40 am that it would likely be closed for several more hours.
