A Quinte West roadway will be closed to through traffic for the next two weeks.
City officials say Film Street will be closed from Tuesday, August 4 to August 14 to accommodate essential storm and sanitary sewer infrastructure improvements.
Work will be completed in two phases:
- Phase 1: Aug. 4 – 7
Film Street will be closed to through traffic, open to local traffic only Aug. 4 to Aug. 7, from Dundas Street West to north of Shuter Street.
This closure is required for storm sewer work at the Wilkins Street and Film Street intersection, as well as sanitary sewer work from Shuter Street to Sutcliffe Boulevard. - Phase 2: Aug. 10 – 14
Film Street will be closed to through traffic, open to local traffic only Aug. 10 to Aug. 14 from Sutcliffe Boulevard to McGill Street to complete additional storm sewer work on Film Street.
