There has been a reported sighting of a missing woman from the Quinte region out west.
Kayla Boisvert, who works as a paramedic with hastings quinte paramedics, was reported missing on Tuesday, in Salmo, BC after having last been seen Monday around 2:15 a.m. at the Shambhala Music Festival.
Salmo RCMP stated investigators received a tip about a sighting of Boisvert around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, and photos have been released to update the public on her latest clothing description.
CBC News reported the missing woman had placed two calls to her twin sister Dianna that went unanswered before her phone stopped responding and she was reported missing.
Boisvert is described as 28-years-old, standing six feet tall, with black hair in long blonde braids and brown eyes.
A Go Fund Me to send family members out west to assist in the search raised $20,000 before donations were stopped.
BC police and RCMP officials continue the search today.
