Belleville man charged in Intimate Partner Violence case

A Belleville man has been charged in a case involving intimate partner violence on Tuesday morning.

On February 10th at 2:44am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end regarding a report of a domestic dispute.

It was reported that a verbal argument between a male and female had escalated, during which the male bit the female and pushed another female who was present.

As a result of investigation, a 21yearold Belleville man, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault.

He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in March.

No name was released.
