By Kay Joly Jan 30, 2026 | 11:14 AM

Congratulations to George Bedard, the Cool 100 and Hits 95.5 Athlete of the Week!

Sport: Hockey

Team: U11 LL2 Silver

George is a 9 year old boy in PEC who is an exceptional team player. Whether he scores or one of his teammates does, he celebrates just as hard. He never gives up! He is full of positivity, regardless of whether his team wins or loses. If he had no goals or assists during the game, it doesn’t matter, he will talk about the highlights of his team members on the way home. George is proud of his team and himself regardless and deserves some recognition!

Nominate your athlete at www.cool100.ca or www.hits955.ca. Tell us their story and why they deserve the spotlight. We’ll feature them on air on Cool 100 and Hits 955, on our socials, and on InQuinte.ca! Plus, the athlete of the week will win vouchers to enjoy 2 free extra value meals from participating McDonald’s restaurants in Trenton, Brighton, and Campbellford!
