New non-emergency phone number to report illegal campfires in Napanee

By Brock Ormond Oct 6, 2026 | 12:36 PM
The Town of Greater Napanee has introduced a new non-emergency phone number for residents to report illegal campfires and other non-urgent fire concerns in municipal parks and public spaces.
Reach out to 613-856-2229 to make your report.
Calls will be answered, or a response will be provided as soon as possible. This number should be used when there is no immediate threat to people, property, or the surrounding area.
Call 9-1-1 immediately if:
➡A fire is spreading
➡Vegetation, a vehicle, tent, or structure is burning
➡Someone is in danger
➡There is an immediate threat to public safety
For your safety, please do not approach a fire, enter an encampment, or confront individuals involved.
