Two men on a snowmobile fall through ice in Tweed

By Katie Sherratt Feb 18, 2024 | 5:55 PM

Two men are lucky to be safe and sound after their snowmobile plunged through the ice on Stoco Lake.

They were both wearing floater coats and proper equipment when they were rescued around Saturday afternoon, according to police.

The OPP would like to remind everyone that no ice is safe ice and encourages people to stay off of it unless it is absolutely necessary.
