Quinte residents can make a magical impact in a family or youth’s life this Christmas by participating in a non-profit organization’s holiday initiative.
Not Alone Team Quinte encourages people to participate in the annual ‘Adopt-a-Family program, which provides gifts and a festive meal to those facing hardship during Christmas.
Companies, departments or groups of employees can choose to “adopt” a family, or just a child and provide them with presents for the children and the ingredients for a complete, heartwarming holiday meal.
NAT Quinte states this initiative is a tangible way to spread holiday cheer and show your commitment to community welfare.
Ways to get involved include;

Adopt a Family: Your team will receive a family’s “wish list” (clothing sizes, ages of children, a few gift ideas) to shop for specific items.

Adopt a Child: -Your team will just adopt one child from the list and provide a few gifts to ensure no child goes without.

Monetary Donation: We gratefully accept financial contributions, which our volunteers use to purchase gifts and meal items for families who were not directly adopted.

Gift Card Donation: Donated gift cards help us fill any gaps and ensure every family on our list receives what they need.
