Belleville Police lay charges following domestic

Belleville Police laid two charges following a domestic incident on Monday night.

On December 1st at 8:37pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence in the city’s west end.

Upon arrival, it was reported that a female struck a male in the face and pushed a television over.

As a result of investigation, a 35-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with:

· Assault

· Mischief

She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in January.

No name was released.
