UPDATE – Home invasion north of Kingston

UPDATE at 9:30 am Tuesday – UPDATE: Investigators now believe the black car may have headed east on Orser Road, then southbound on Sydenham Road, possibly heading to the 401. This happened between 10:38 and 11:00 am. We are again calling on anyone in the area to check their doorbell, dashcam or other video feed and to contact police with anything that may assist the investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY – Frontenac OPP are investigating a home invasion north of Kingston.

Officers responded to a residence on Orser Road, near Sydenham Road, on Monday, December 1st, shortly before 11:00 a.m.

It had been reported that two masked men, armed with firearms, had entered the house. An individual in the home was assaulted, but injuries were not believed to be serious.

The males then fled the scene and were last seen driving westbound on Orser Road in a black car. The males are described as white, with medium builds. Both were wearing dark clothing.

This incident appears to have been targeted, and investigators believe there is no threat to the general public.
