Timely donation for local Habitat for Humanity

By Brock Ormond Dec 1, 2025 | 3:29 PM

Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings is getting a timely donation from a Brighton-based construction company.

Habitat PEH executive director Hazzem Koudsi accepted a generous $5,000 donation from Peak Construction, delivered in person by Peak partner Scott Matthews on Friday, Nov. 28.

Their support comes at a crucial time for Habitat’s Lester Road project in Trenton, where two semis are currently under construction and will become home to four local families in 2026.

Peak Construction’s generosity directly contributes to making affordable homeownership a reality for families who have long dreamed of a safe and stable place to call home.

By reducing out-of-pocket building costs, this donation not only supports the families moving into Lester Road but also strengthens Habitat’s ability to serve future families across the local region.

With project completion expected in the spring, Habitat is actively accepting applications.
