2022 employee salary disclosure list released in Quinte West

The list of Quinte West city employees that made more than $100,000 in 2022 has been released to the public.

The salary disclosure report by CPA manager of finance Matt Hodge indicates CAO David Clazie was the highest paid employee working for the municipality last year at a salary of $190.312.72

Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan is listed as making $158,232, while firefighter Basil Wood also sits in the top five with a salary of more than $150,400.

Also near the top is Chris Angelo and Brian Jardine, each pulling in $158,223 as director of public works and director of planning and development services, respectively.

This report, plus a separate report on salary disclosures for municipal elected officials and appointed members are coming to Quinte West council at its regular meeting on Wednesday.
