Prince Edward County voters have shown up early to cast their ballots in the 2026 municipal election.
A voter turnout update issued by the County noted as of noon Monday, 3,090 ballots have been cast, representing 11.5-per cent voter turnout.
That’s an improvement over this time in 2022, where 2,717 ballots had been cast.
That follows a voter turnout update following Advance Voting Day on Saturday, October 17 and approximately 48 hours after internet voting opened.
Internet voting opened at 10:00 a.m. Saturday and remains available continuously until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Monday, October 26.
Advance Voting Day also provided electors with an opportunity to cast a paper ballot in person at their assigned ward-specific voting location.
