Mischief charges have been laid following an incident late last week involving graffiti at a local church and playground in Napanee.

Multiple mischief complaints were fielded by Lennox and Addington County OPP involving ‘hate symbols’ being etched on those two facilities on Bridge Street Friday.

Officers investigated and placed Brenna Motychko, 31, of Napanee under arrest.

She was charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000 and released following a bail hearing.

The accused is expected to appear in Napanee Court on Oct. 14.
