Big soccer event coming to Centennial Park in Trenton on October 4th

Teams from across the province will converge on Trenton early next month for a special Soccer tournament.

The Riverside Cup 2025, a men’s sevens soccer tournament will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at Centennial Park in Trenton.

The tournament will kick off at 9:00 a.m. and will feature 12 competitive teams from across Ontario.

Athletic Kerala Kingston

Belleville Blitz

Grand Lakers Football Club Kitchener

Kerala United Football Club Ottawa

Mexico FC Belleville

Orlando FC Toronto

Oshawa United

Punjab Central United

Punjab FC

Quinte FC YMMS

Riverside FC Belleville (host team)

Tricity FC Kitchener

Representing the Bay of Quinte region are Riverside FC Belleville, Belleville Blitz, Mexico FC, and Quinte FC YMMS. The tournament will bring together over 200 players, along with families, supporters, and fans, making it a true celebration of sport and community. The semi-finals and finals are expected to take place between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., with $2,000 awarded to the champions and $1,000 to the runners-up.

The Riverside Cup is organized by BMSC (Belleville Malayalee Sports Club), a not-for-profit community sports organization active in the Bay of Quinte region. This exciting event highlights local talent, fosters regional pride, and strengthens the community’s soccer spirit.
