Man charged following B&E at Belleville school

A 46-year-old man was caught by Belleville Police following a break-in at a school in the city.

Last Monday night, around 7:30, an unknown male entered a school in the city’s east end through unlocked doors.

Video surveillance showed him walking through the halls before leaving the building.

An investigation and review of video footage led to the man being identified and police stated he was seen walking on Dundas Street West on Friday.

James Patrick, a Belleville man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with break and enter.

He was held for a bail hearing.
