Reports are coming in about a collision involving a dump truck at a train crossing going out toward Brighton.
Late Friday morning around 11:30, a report to InQuinte.ca indicated the truck and an oncoming CN train collided at the Stoney Point Crossing on Highway 2, west of the Trenton Walmart.
OPP East Region put out a post on its social media saying Stoney Point Road is closed in both directions between County Road 64 and Highway 2 outside of Brighton.
The tracks in the area are also closed.
OPP is advising motorists to avoid the area and plan alternate routes if possible for the time being.
The truck driver managed to escape without harm.
No injuries have been reported, but emergency personnel say there is extensive damage to the train that will take a while to clean up.
