The Downtown Belleville Business Improvement Area (DBIA) is excited to announce the return of Enchanted In The District.
Enchanted In The District will take place over three days, beginning Friday, November 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., continuing Saturday, November 21, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and wrapping up Sunday, November 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, Bridge Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between Front Street and Pinnacle Street, creating a festive pedestrian-friendly space filled with holiday activities, entertainment, and opportunities to celebrate the season in the heart of Downtown Belleville.
This year’s event is shaping up to be more magical than ever. Thanks in part to the provincial funding initiative, Experience Ontario grant program, the DBIA is excited to expand on the holiday traditions that have made Enchanted In The District a beloved community celebration.
One of the exciting new additions this year is the Festival of Trees, taking place on Saturday, November 21, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Century Village (199 Front Street). Downtown businesses will come together to decorate Christmas trees, creating a festive display for visitors to admire. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for their favourite trees, with lucky winners taking home a beautifully decorated Christmas tree just in time for the holidays!
Best of all, all proceeds from the Festival of Trees will be donated to the Christmas Sharing Program, helping support local families during the holiday season. This new initiative has been a dream of the Downtown Belleville BIA, and thanks to the generous support of Quinte Paint & Wallpaper, that dream is becoming a reality. Their contribution has helped bring this holiday experience back to Belleville, creating an opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate the season, and give back to those who need it most.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can look forward to festive entertainment, holiday activities, opportunities to shop local, and plenty of Christmas cheer. From beloved holiday traditions to exciting new experiences, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
“Enchanted In The District is such a special opportunity to bring our community together and celebrate everything that makes Downtown Belleville unique,” says Danielle Hanoman, Executive Director of the Downtown Belleville BIA. “With the support of the Experience Ontario grant and our incredible local sponsors, we’re able to bring even more holiday magic downtown this year.”
Enchanted In The District is a free, three-day festival running November 20–22, 2026. More exciting announcements, including the full schedule of activities and entertainment, will be shared in the coming weeks.
The Downtown Belleville BIA encourages the public to mark their calendars, gather their friends and family, and get ready to experience the magic of the holiday season in Downtown Belleville!
