The Belleville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their second candidates forum for Ward 2 at the Gerry Masterson Centre on Harmony Road to provide local residents and voters with an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their perspectives on specific issues for Ward 2. The event is free and open to the community to attend.
The event includes trustee candidates for the English Public and Separate School Boards as well as Ward 2 councillor and Mayoral candidates. The evening will begin with trustee candidates providing a statement, followed by a moderated debate format (four questions total) with the four councillor candidates and concluding with the Mayoral candidates, who will participate in both a moderated debate (three questions total) and two “speed-round” questions each.
Doors will open at 6:00 pm with the formal agenda starting at 7:00 pm. Members of the public are welcome to come when doors open for an opportunity to meet directly with the candidates.
Ward 2 constituents are invited to submit questions through the following link

People may also bring their question in writing and submit them at the door.
No questions will be taken from the floor.
The event will be filmed by YourTV Quinte and a YouTube link will be provided for those unable to attend in person.
