A Brighton man faces a list of charges following a disturbance early Saturday morning in Belleville.
On June 6th at 2:55 a.m., Belleville Police observed a male involved in a verbal dispute with several other individuals.
Police began an investigation, during which the male reportedly entered a vehicle and attempted to flee. Officers were able to stop the vehicle and directed the driver to exit. During the arrest, he reportedly resisted police and refused to provide identification and also uttered threats toward officers while in custody.
As a result, a 32-year-old Brighton man, was arrested and charged with:
· Failure or refusal to comply with a demand
· Operation while impaired – alcohol
· Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
· Resist peace officer
· Obstruct peace officer
He was held for a bail hearing.
