Members of the Northumberland OPP have charged an individual for possession of drugs after a complaint last week.
Last Thursday, May 28, at approximately 5:30 p.m., police received a complaint regarding a suspicious person on Church Street in Campbellford.
Officers located an individual matching the description provided, and further investigation led to the seizure of a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
Richard Walsh, 48, from Warkworth, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in July.
