Millhaven Institution is reporting a death of an inmate in its custody.
Officials with the maximum-security prison in Bath say Michael Clairoux, 52, died in custody Friday.
At the time of death, the inmate had been serving a life sentence, since January 9, 2025.
The inmate’s next of kin has been notified.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances.
