There were some tense moments during a gas leak in Napanee early Tuesday morning.
At 1:49 am, Lennox and Addington OPP posted the following message on X/Twitter.
OPP X POST – Please avoid the area of Richmond Park Drive between Bridge Street West and Dundas Street West in Napanee due to a gas leak. Those requiring hospital services are asked to seek care at alternate facilities and plan their routes accordingly.
That advisory was cancelled with the following message at 3:20 am.
UPDATE (3:20 a.m.): The situation has resolved in the area of Richmond Park Drive in Napanee. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
There is no word yet on the cause of the leak or any possible injuries connected to the incident.
