UPDATE: 3:30 P.M: A man has been charged in connection to a stabbing over the previous weekend.
Saturday around 10 am, Belleville Police responded to a call for service at an apartment complex in the city’s west end regarding a stabbing.
Further investigation revealed that an altercation occurred between multiple individuals. Two individuals were transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Belleville Police Criminal Investigations Division arrested and charged 56-year-old Kyle Allin with:
· Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
· Assault with a weapon
He was released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in June.

More details are expected on Tuesday morning following a stabbing in Belleville in the early hours of the long weekend.
Saturday morning around 10 am, Belleville Police responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment on Palmer Road.
Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the incident appears to have been a roommate dispute.
No word yet on charges.
