Truck fire closes Highway 7 west of Perth

Be ready for some delays if you are taking Highway 7 headed towards Ottawa early Tuesday morning.

The OPP posted this message shortly after midnight after a fire on a big-rig shut down Highway 7 just west of Perth.

ROAD CLOSURE: #Hwy7 is fully closed in all lanes in #Maberly, between Strong Side Road and Cameron Side Road, west of #Perth. Emergency crews are responding to a tanker truck on fire. OPP is advising members of the public to avoid the area.
