Members of the Quinte West Fire and Emergency Services will participate in a NFPA 1006 Ice Water Rescue Training Course this weekend.
Delivered by the Hastings Prince Edward Mutual Aid Association Regional Fire Training Centre on March 6, 7, and 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Trent Port Marina.
Over the three days, fire vehicles, equipment and emergency personnel will be active in and around Trent Port Marina. Residents may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and on-ice training activity in this area.
Members of the public are asked to stay clear of training areas and follow any posted signage or direction from on-site personnel.
