Another successful Bay of Quinte Relay for Life is in the books.
Some wet weather on Saturday didn’t stop 30 teams of community members from banding together to raise $75,000 and counting at Trenton High School.
Event director Karen White said the support for the cause on the weekend was outstanding, with her team, PS: I Love You raising the most money at more than $11,000.
Community Service Clubs and local businesses contributed $7,000 in the eight-hour event.
All the money raised is going toward the Canadian Cancer Society to help fund cancer research.
More funds are expected to come in the days and weeks ahead.
