More details are expected on Tuesday after a large police presence was spotted for more than two hours on Monday in Kaladar.
Lennox and Addington OPP posted on social media shortly before 2 pm that there were several officers conducting an investigation around County Road 41 in the Kaladar area.
They later posted at 4:05 pm that they had a suspect in custody, though people in the area may still see an increased police presence.
No other details were provided. Officials say there was no threat to public safety.
