Hamilton man charged in domestic violence case in Belleville

Belleville Police have arrested a man from Hamilton following a reported case of domestic violence in the city.

On June 9 at 9:43 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute where a male reportedly choked a female. Officers attended and spoke with both parties.

As a result of investigation, a 24-year-old Hamilton man, was arrested and charged with:

· Assault – spousal

He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in July.

No name was released.
