A fiery crash on the 401 briefly closed a stretch of roadway in Northumberland County Tuesday night.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., members of the OPP and local fire services responded to a report of a vehicle fire on the westbound shoulder of Highway 401 near Lake Road in the Township of Cramahe.
Emergency crews arrived to find a bus fully engulfed in flames.
Northumberland OPP say all occupants had safely exited the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
Highway 401 westbound was temporarily closed at County Road 30 to allow emergency crews to safely manage the incident before that section of road was reopened at approximately 1:00 a.m.
