Two injured following stabbing incident over long weekend in Belleville

More details are expected on Tuesday morning following a stabbing in Belleville in the early hours of the long weekend.

Saturday morning around 10 am, Belleville Police responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment on Palmer Road.

Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say the incident appears to have been a roommate dispute.

No word yet on charges.
