A two-day heatwave which will feel more like July than May continues on Tuesday in Quinte.

Victoria Day Monday was a scorcher, with a high of 25.9 degrees (as measured at CFB Trenton).

Tuesday is expected to be even warmer, with a projected high of 28, feeling like 33 (with the Humidex).

The rest of the week is more seasonal, with highs expected between 14 (Saturday) and 20 (Sunday).

The average high for this time of year in Quinte is 20 degrees.
