Another boost to local industry is popping up in the Quinte region.

Ya YA Foods Corp., a leading North American co-manufacturer in the food and beverage industry, was proud to announce the grand opening of Ya YA Foods Belleville/Truss Beverage Co., on Tuesday at its newest state-of-the-art beverage production facility located in Belleville at 540 College St. E.

Ya YA Foods Belleville is a manufacturer of high-quality beverages across North America and was developed to meet the growing demand for aseptic PET beverage production.

Situated to optimize distribution across Canada and the United States, the facility strengthens cross-border logistics while positioning the company to better serve a growing customer base.

Currently, Ya YA Foods Belleville has created over 94 local jobs but is planning for future expansion with 300-400 job opportunities expected.

This will create new hiring opportunities for skilled labourers and reinforce regional economic growth.

The Ya YA Foods Belleville site promotes access to the skilled labour market, as well as accessibility in product exportation.

Pat Walsh, Ya YA Foods Belleville Director, says that by installing more production lines, more jobs and opportunities for “local talent” can be created.

“With Ya YA Foods Belleville, we are expanding our manufacturing footprint and are creating opportunities, supporting local economies, and building a workplace where talent can grow and thrive,” said Yahya Abbas, Ya YA Foods Corp. CEO.

With nearly four decades of experience in the food and beverage industry, Ya YA Foods Corp. has grown from a single operation into a fully integrated North American co-manufacturing leader. The addition of Ya YA Foods Belleville represents the next chapter in that journey.
