A Belleville woman was arrested on a charge of failing to comply with a release order following an incident late Tuesday night.

On May 12th at 11:57pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end regarding a domestic dispute.

It was reported that a male and a female were in a verbal argument.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the parties, and learned the female was bound by conditions to not communicate with the male.

As a result of investigation, a 37-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

She was held for a bail hearing.

Her name was not released.
