The Quinte West OPP is seeking public assistance in connection with an arson in the municipality.
On Saturday, May 23, shortly before 2:15 a.m., Quinte West OPP officers, along with members of its OPP Crime Unit and city firefighters responded to a residential fire on Hamilton Road.
The initial investigation confirmed that the fire was started between 1:45 a.m. and 2:15 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Quinte West OPP are seeking witnesses to the event or in possession of possible dashcam or doorbell footage.
