You can support a local school community and a well-known worthy cause Friday by getting your feet and heart moving.

Bayside Secondary School is holding its 12th annual Relay for Life event from noon to 10 p.m.

This is Bayside’s largest school-wide initiative, fundraising for cancer research.

Participants are encouraged to take and upload selfies to social media in support of the cause.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend starting at 2:30 p.m.
