A section of Sidney Street south of Dixon Drive in Trenton will be closed to traffic for three weeks starting Monday.

Quinte West officials say Sidney Street from Dixon Drive to Princess Street will be closed from June 9th to the 27th for ongoing work on the watermain replacement.

Access will be maintained for local traffic and emergency services.

All other traffic will be detoured east to Byron Street via Dixon Drive.

As part of this work, Sidney Street from Dixon Drive to Princess Street will receive new sidewalks and asphalt paving.
