Million dollar ticket sold in Quinte Region

Someone bought a lottery ticket that won a million dollars recently in the Quinte Region.

There was a sole winner of the 80-million-dollar Lotto MAX jackpot from Tuesday. That ticket was purchased in the London, Ontario area.

One of the winning MAXMILLIONS tickets was bought in Prince Edward County/Hastings.

RELEASE – The winning $80 million jackpot ticket from the Tuesday December 30, 2025 draw was sold somewhere in LONDON, Ontario!

This is the first time the $80 million jackpot has been won in Ontario.

It’s also the second time since the LOTTO MAX jackpot increased to $80 million in March 2024, that there has been only one winning jackpot ticket. A player in British Columbia had the sole $80 million LOTTO MAX ticket for the May, 9, 2025 draw.

Before we countdown the start of 2026, let’s raise a glass to some of the biggest prizes from last night’s draw… and there were many of the big prize winners across the province:

  • Seven (7) MAXMILLIONS tickets each worth $1 MILLION were sold in:
      • HAMILTON
      • TORONTO (2 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets sold here each worth $1 MILLION)
      • BARRIE
      • THORNHILL
      • PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY / HASTINGS AREA
      • NIAGARA AREA
  • Four (4) MAXMILLIONS tickets each worth $500,000 were sold in:
      • WINDSOR (split with another ticket sold in Vaughan)
      • VAUGHAN (split with another ticket sold in Windsor)
      • YORK REGION (split with another ticket sold on OLG.ca)
      • OLG.ca (split with another ticket sold in York Region)
  • Two (2) MAXMILLIONS tickets each worth $333,333.40 were sold in:
      • York Region
      • Ajax

(these tickets shared the prize three ways with one another ticket sold in Western Canada)

 One winning ENCORE ticket worth $1 MILLION was sold in AJAX

 Three (3) winning ENCORE tickets each worth $100,000 were sold in:

      • DURHAM REGION
      • GREY COUNTY
      • WELLAND
