Belleville Police have charged a city man with breach of probation.

On December 16th at 4:13pm, Belleville Police attended a residence in the city’s west end regarding a report that a male was in breach of his probation order by attending a female’s residence.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to both parties and confirmed the male was bound by conditions to not communicate with the female.

As a result of investigation, a 27-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with 2 counts of failure to comply with a probation order.

He was held for a bail hearing.
