The City of Quinte West is still below its year-to-date building numbers from 2024.
The city’s building department noted 55 permits were issued in November at a construction value of $28.7 million.
The number of permits was well below the 86 issued in November of last year, but construction value cleared the $15.3 million of last year.
This is thanks largely to a $18 million new industrial build at 108 Huff Avenue in Trenton.

Other projects exceeding $50,000 include two business renovation projects at 303 Dundas Street West ($525,000) and 30 Frankford Crescent ($60,000) and a $120,000 permit for a new agricultural project on 461 Deer Run Road.

Year-to-date, 536 permits have been issued through the first 11 months of this year at a value of $149.1 million, down from 620 at a value of $184 million through the same timeframe in 2024.

The full breakdown of building stats to this point in the year can be seen at this link.
