Trail closure in Napanee

By Brock Ormond Nov 19, 2025 | 2:02 PM
People in Napanee are being made aware of a trail closure that continues through Wednesday and into Thursday.
Town officials are advised that the Springside Park trail will be closed from Bracken Street to the base of the falls between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20.
This closure is necessary to facilitate cleanup efforts at encampment sites that have been deemed as abandoned.
The net cost to clean up the four abandoned sites at this location over two days is being reported at $15,000.
