New Level 3 electric vehicle chargers now available in King St (Picton) parking lot

Two new Level 3 DCFC electric vehicle (EV) chargers are now available for public use at the municipal parking lot located at 55 King St in Picton.

The new Level 3 chargers are the first ‘fast chargers’ and the fourth set of EV chargers installed by the municipality. The municipality’s EV charging infrastructure is connected to the Flo network.

The Level 3 DCFC chargers cost $20 per hour, with payment through the Flo app or by credit card.

These Level 3 DCFC chargers were funded through Natural Resources Canada under the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) as well as the Province of Ontario’s Electric Vehicle ChargeON Program.

Motorists may park in the electric vehicle charger parking spaces for up to four hours, and only when actively charging their vehcile.

Please note: the electric vehicle (EV) chargers located at Crystal Palace in Picton will be temporarily out of service from Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 7 during the Picton Fair.
