Vandalism incidents being investigated in Trenton

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating some incident involving vandalism in Trenton.

On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Quinte West OPP responded to a complaint of a mischief that occurred on Telephone Road where a residence had been spray painted.

The investigation discovered several additional properties in the surrounding area had also been vandalized by graffiti with slurs relating to race and sexual orientation.

It is believed the incidents occurred between the evening of Monday, August 25th, 2025 and Tuesday, August 26th, 2025.

The investigation is ongoing, and any person with information regarding this incident or the person(s) responsible is requested to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
