OPP urges caution as they monitor for safe driving this long weekend

Police officers across the East Region of Ontario, including in the Quinte and Northumberland regions, will be watching closely for safe driving as the long weekend gets set to begin.

OPP is focusing on the ‘Big 4’ causes of serious collisions over the next few days.

These include speeding, seatbelt usage, distracted driving and impaired driving.

The OPP encourages drivers to plan ahead and be safe.
